What is the Prayer Room?
THE PRAYER ROOM IS THE FOCUS AND HEARTBEAT OF EVERYTHING THAT GOES ON AT IHOP EAST BAY. This is the main room of the facility in which ongoing prayer and worship is conducted.
The purpose and vision of the prayer room is that it be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with doors open to any person or group desiring to come worship or pray, individually and/or corporately.
The Prayer Room is currently open Monday - Friday 4am-4pm. Prayer Room Schedule.
Every two hours a new session begins, each falling into one of four prayer formats:
Intercession is a corporate time of supplication in which the microphone is open for anyone in the room to use biblical prayers to cry out for revival in the cities and nations of the earth.
Worship with the Word develops the truths of Scripture by turning the passage into songs and prayers to God.
Prophetic Worship seeks to find the immediate flow of the Spirit amidst the congregation. Primarily used during evening services, this format often includes extended times of corporate worship and personal ministry.
Devotional Worship meetings provide an atmosphere of “soaking” in the Word of God, having our hearts refreshed in intimacy. This is a time where one may come in and individually do devotions, read, pray ect.
All formats are led by worship teams comprised of committed singers and musicians who mingle their songs with spoken prayers and proclamations, which we call the Harp & Bowl Model (Revelation 5:8).
